Fantastic meal delivery service in SF. $16/meal and you get a variety of proteins and veggies. They only use salt, pepper & olive oil. This is now on regular rotation in my household.
First and foremost, the food was awesome (I’ve tried four different dishes). Super yummy as it tastes like a home cooked meal (because it essentially is) and as a bonus, the way it’s packaged it fantastic given these times. The packaging is clear as to when it was made and when your should eat it by which helps people like myself who aren’t registering time as they usually would during the pandemic! Extremely professional and it’s clear that safety is a top priority.
I ordered Symple veg meal kit to help me start/ get through a 5day vegetarian diet and a pork meal box to reward myself at the end. I finished everything and so far everything is as advertised: fresh, clean and no prep! And the portions are big enough! After I made my plate of veg selections I realized there is plenty in each box and you don’t waste food! I ordered my kit Friday afternoon and it arrived Monday afternoon. I recommend if you have questions to send them an e-mail - quick to reply and friendly in communications.
I’m a functional dietitian - and strongly approve and endorse symple foods. I love how the meals are so customizable, use quality ingredients, and have just what you need - and nothing more. The salmon and beef are particularly amazing. The closest you can come to home-cooked meals for meal prep in the Bay Area!

Today I had the pleasure of meeting one half of this dynamic duo that makes up #symplefoods a gourmet style health based prep meals, ready to go with minimal effort! And yes, I said gourmet style! Though they are still developing their menu, the options they have are plenty to work with. This is great to stock your fridge or pull out at the next picnic! Highly recommend you try this company! I was thoroughly impressed. (Continued…) I wrote this to my Airbnb Host; “ I found a service near you that delivers gourmet style healthy prepared dishes that are great for a few days stay. Just pop them. The microwave for a minute and you have some great healthy “home cooked” meals. I would highly recommend them. The company is a husband and wife team called SYMPLE FOODS! You may know them… I met the husband, Airen. He’s such a nice guy, great energy and a kind spirit. He and his wife are also developing their menu. Airen said I was their first AirBnB patron, as they just became part of the AirBnB family a week or so ago. He spoke highly of his wife, and their mission is SYMPLE, feed people the healthy food at home. It’s perfect for Airbnb because we come as guests to a home, which normally revolves around the kitchen. It’s wonderful to be able to have a great pre-made dish daily and not having to resort to delivery of let’s say “mediocre” food… I mean I know San Fran are full of foodies, but then you have to navigate traffic, parking and the whole dining out experience. Which is fine if you’re up for all that adventure. But if you want to keep things simple and close to the house, working while on a business trip, break out some great meals at a picnic, or have gourmet meals ready in an instant while on vacation with the kids. We love Symple Foods! I have tried several meal prep companies before but quickly get sick of the food. I really appreciate that Symple foods is slightly different combinations each week and simple oil/salt pepper. It starts us on a good kick each week to have healthy food delivered Monday and it’s easy to skip a week or change the quantities/protein choices week to week. We also started Symple to get away from our DoorDash habits and it has helped us reduce ordering and cook from home more to supplement our meals with you all. Symple Foods is THE best meal delivery service. From the quality and taste to the customer service, everything is exceptional. The proteins are cooked to perfection, and the rotation of seasonal vegetables makes it impossible to get bored. And the sauces? Incredibleeee. I'm so happy to have found such a healthy and deeply nourishing meal delivery service. The owner is awesome too!
